FotoFora is a membership-driven, subscription-supported photographic community. Our membership packages offer value and additional site benefits based on one’s subscription level. FotoFora currently offers 3 public levels of subscriber accounts. See our Site Features FAQ for more detail about site functionality and permissions.​

Expiration & Renewal​

The basic free, Explorer account never expires. Navigator and Voyager accounts renew annually, and you may choose to automate your renewals. Auto-renewal can be canceled or modified at any time.​

​

If a member wishes to upgrade their account, this is seamlessly executed, and the account is accordingly adjusted. One can renew an account at any time, and their new subscription does not begin until the existing one is set to expire!​

In addition, a subscriber may elect at any time to cancel and remove their account and image content through their account management panel. No refunds for cancellation of service.​

Sometimes people wish to move on from a community for many different reasons. Various laws, rules, and regulations exist across the world to protect the rights of people to ‘be forgotten’ in various venues. Most often, this is an involved process that requires contacting staff, making requests, and awaiting administrative action.​

​

FotoFora takes this process to its natural conclusion—the ability of a member to remove themselves and their content from FotoFora at any time through a simple action. Here are the instructions for self-initiated cancellation:​

Navigate to your user profile’s “Account Details” page ( https://fotofora.net/account/account-details ). As shown in arrow #1, click on | Account Details |. Then click on | Delete Account | as shown by arrow #2.​

The following page will ask you to enter your password. Enter and click the | Confirm | button. Follow the remaining prompts. A 24-hour 'cooling off' period is provided in which the member has an opportunity to reverse their choice. After the expiration of that time, the account will be automatically deleted, and any associated content be purged from the system within 12 hours.​
